The Traveline Challenge, Traveline's fun and free campaign to encourage change, to people’s travel habits, health and to the environment, is back!
It’s easy to get involved. All you need to do is pledge to make a journey by public transport, car share, foot or bike.
But ‘Why?’ you may ask.
Well, with 13% of the UK’s CO2 emissions coming from car use alone and widespread levels of dangerous traffic fumes continuing to threaten our environment, perhaps the question should be ‘Why not?’
Why not jump on a bus or train, or walk or cycle every now and again? Or, if you really need to use the car, consider sharing it as either a driver or passenger? Whichever option you choose, you’ll be guaranteed to benefit:
We are not asking people to stop using their cars altogether, but we are challenging people to see if they can break old habits by leaving their car at home every once in a while?
So, are you ready to take the Traveline Challenge?
