Improvements works will take place on the Taff Trail to widen a pinch point in the subway under Western Avenue.
The works will start on August 7 and will last an estimated five days.
This will involve removing a section of guardrail and building up the path to give more space to the many cyclists and pedestrians who use the route.
Whilst the works take place the subway will be closed but there will be alternative routes for those using the path - via the ramp to Western Avenue North and through the subway which links to Excelsior Road or via the stepped access to Western Avenue.
There is a wheeling ramp on the steps to allow cyclists to push their bikes.
This map shows the alternative routes.
