There are 50 schools in Cardiff participating in Walk to School Month this May and it would be great if the adult population could join in by participating in Walk to Work Week from the 13 -17 May.

30 minutes of moderately intensive exercise at least five days a week is the recommended activity level for adults (www.nhs.uk/walk-for-life). Active commuting is a simple way of building those 30 minutes into your daily routine.
Walking can be easily combined with bus or train journeys – giving you an opportunity to exercise no matter how long your commute.
