Parking Enforcement
Cardiff has its own team of civil enforcement officers who encourage people to park legally, safely and considerately
Our Civil Parking Enforcement scheme makes it safer for pedestrians, easier for public transport and better for the disabled community.
Please think before you park your car!
Vehicles found to be parked illegally will be issued with a fine (Penalty Charge Notice) of £50 or £70 depending on the circumstances.
Mobile teams of Civil Enforcement Officers target trouble spots and deal with parking problems across the city. The police will also issue tickets to drivers who park on zigzag markings, cause obstructions and park dangerously.
For more advice on Parking Enforcement please see the Cardiff Council website.
