Bike Hangar: Privacy Policy

For what purposes and on what legal grounds do we process your data?

The lawful basis we rely on to collect your personal data is consent.

Your personal data will be collected for the purpose of collating your suggestions with regards to bike hangar locations.

You are able to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting dataprotection@cardiff.gov.uk.

Who receives your personal data?

All data is held securely by Cardiff Council. We will use Snap Survey to assist with the Bike Hangar survey, to view their privacy notice please visit https://www.snapsurveys.com/survey-software/privacy-policy-uk/.

How long will my personal data be held?

The personal data you supply as part of the survey will be deleted when it is no longer needed. This will be after the bike hangar locations have been decided and completed.

What are your rights?

You can request to access to the information Cardiff Council holds on you. You can also request to rectify any inaccurate or out of date data. In some circumstances you may also have a right to ask the Council to restrict the processing of your personal data until any errors are corrected, to object to processing or to transfer or erase your personal data.
