Cardiff Council is always working on projects to improve travel for all modes, and is keen to make sure that everyone has the right opportunity to feedback their thoughts and ideas. Passes
All residents over the age of 60 and disabled persons receive free bus travel on local bus services throughout Wales on production of a valid pass. More information and application forms for bus passes are available here.
Some bus operators have smart cards or apps which let passengers go by bus without paying with change for each journey.
You can find out more from the Cardiff Bus, and Stagecoach websites. There may also be services provided by other public transport operators.
If you are travelling into Cardiff by rail, buying a PLUS BUS ticket will also give you bus travel to and from the rail station and around the whole urban area of town that’s at the start and/or finish of your train journey.
