Code of Conduct
We are keen to ensure that traffic free shared-use paths can continue to be enjoyed by everyone.
Following extensive consultation with pedestrians and cyclists a code of conduct has been developed to encourage a good relationship between pedestrians and cyclists. The code acknowledges that we all have a role to play in improving how we interact with each other on paths, and is based on respectful sharing of space.
The code has these simple messages.
- Keep left
- Cyclists ring your bell
- Cycle slowly
- Keep your dogs under control
